Alert

What it does: Creates attention-grabbing notices.
Why use it: Announce events, errors, or exciting updates.
Pro Tip: Use color strategically—red for urgent, blue for info, green for success.

Sometimes you need to make sure your visitors know something important or urgent — whether it's a deadline, a promotion, or a special announcement. The Alert Block lets you grab their attention quickly and efficiently — without overwhelm.

Text

Start by adding your alert message in the Text field. This is your chance to tell your viewers what’s up in a clear, direct, yet welcoming way.

Icon

Icons help your message stand out and aid understanding at a glance. Tip: Stick to something that resonates with your message (such as a warning icon for urgency, a checkmark for a promotion, or a clock for a deadline).

Destination URL

Optionally, you can make your alert clickable. Add a destination URL, and when your visitor clicks the alert, they’ll be redirected directly to whatever you’re promoting or sharing.

Turn this on if you want the link to open in a new tab, keeping your biolink safely up and visible.

Display close button

If you enable this, your visitors can close the alert once they’re finished reading it — a helpful way to keep their view clean afterwards.

Pause alert after closing

Consider adding a pause period (in minutes) after the visitor closes the alert. This lets you avoid repeatedly interrupting their experience with the same message.

Text color

Select a color for your alert text. Consider choosing something that's clear, visible, and a strong contrast against your background.

Text alignment

Adjust your text alignment to suit your style — options include center, justify, left, or right.

Background color

Set a background color to make your alert block pop! Consider choosing a color related to your branding or a color that signals urgency (like yellow or red).

Border settings (Optional)

Want your alert to stand out even more? Consider adding borders with custom colors, thickness, or radius.

Border shadow settings (Optional)

Add a shadow to create depth and make your alert appear to lift off the page.

When you’re finished customizing, click Update. Your alert block will appear directly on your biolink — a clear, stylish way to make sure your most important messages get noticed by your visitors.
