Biolinks - Advanced Blocks (RSS Feed)

What it does: Displays updates from external blogs or news sources.
Why use it: Keeps your site fresh with real-time content.
Pro Tip: Use feeds relevant to your audience to add value instantly.

Add a URL and click create.

Don’t worry, by now you know we let you fully customize your block later! Head on over to the Blocks dashboard to edit and customize according to your needs.

RSS Feed URL

Start by adding your feed’s URL in the RSS Feed URL field. This should be a standard RSS feed (with a .xml) — for example:  http://feeds.foxnews.com/foxnews/politics.
Once you’ve entered it, your feed’s stories will appear directly in your Biolink.

Amount of Posts to Display

Choose How many articles you want to show. This lets you control how much content you’re sharing with your viewers —  for instance, 5, 10, or even more, depending on your preferences.

Text Alignment

Adjust the text alignment for your feed’s stories. Choose from:

  • Center — for a neatly symmetric view.

  • Justify — for a more editorial, sophisticated look.

  • Left — for a traditional, left-aligned format.

  • Right — for a unique, stylish twist.

Text Color

Select a color for your text to align with your biolink’s style and color scheme. Consider choosing a color that stands out against your background while retaining readability.

Background Color

Optionally, you can apply a background color to make your feed block pop or blend smoothly with your overall design.

Animation (Optional)

Choose an animation to bring your feed block to life! Select from available effects (like fade, zoom, or slide) for a bit of movement when your block appears.

Columns

Arrange your feed’s stories in 1 or 2 columns. A two-column view can be especially helpful if you have many stories or want to maximize space.

Border settings (Optional)

Want to frame your feed block? Adjust: Border width, color, style, or border radius.
 This lets you highlight your stories or separate them from other content.

Border shadow settings (Optional)

Add depth with a shadow! Consider adding:

  • Horizontal and vertical offset,

  • Blur radius,

  • Spread,

  • Color, for a stylish 3D appearance.

When you’re finished customizing: Click “Update” to save your block.
