Biolinks - Standard Blocks (Image)

Upload a single image—your logo, a product, or promo banner. Images say more than words sometimes!

Want to spice up your biolink page with some visual flair?

The Image Module is just the thing. Whether you're showcasing products, personal branding, or just adding aesthetic value, this tool helps you insert and customize images like a pro.

Let’s walk through it step by step.

What Does the Image Module Do?

This module lets you add a clickable image to your biolink page. The image can be linked to another website, optimized for SEO, and tailored for how you want it to be displayed. It's ideal for:

  • Highlighting a product

  • Promoting a blog or video

  • Adding logos or portfolio visuals

  • Creating a visual call-to-action

Choose an Image

  • Click on “Choose File” to upload an image from your device.

  • Supported formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .svg, .gif, .webp, .avif

  • Maximum file size: 4 MB

  • You’ll see a thumbnail preview after uploading.

Delete Uploaded File (Optional)

If you change your mind, tick “Delete uploaded file” and upload a new one.

Add Image Alt Text

  • Fill in the Image alt field.

  • This is a short description of your image for:

    • Accessibility: Screen readers use this for visually impaired users.

    • SEO: Helps search engines understand what your image is about.

  • Example: “Assorted spices in small bowls on a white background.”

Add a Destination URL

  • Paste a URL in the Destination URL field.

  • This turns your image into a clickable link that directs users to another page.

  • Great for linking to product pages, YouTube videos, or sign-up forms.

Open in New Tab (Optional)

  • Toggle this switch on if you want the link to open in a new browser tab.

  • Ideal when linking to external websites or shops to keep your biolink open.

Display Settings

  • Click the Display settings button to customize:

    • Alignment

    • Padding

    • Visibility on mobile/desktop

    • Animation styles

  • These tweaks help match the image’s appearance to your brand or layout needs.

Click Update

  • Once all fields are set, hit the Update button (the bright purple one).

  • Your image will now appear live on your biolink page with all your custom settings.

Pro Tips

  • Use clear, relevant images that align with your personal or business brand.

  • Don’t skip the alt text. It helps both your SEO and your users.

  • Match the image color palette with your biolink theme for a cohesive look.

  • If you’re linking to an external shop, make sure the link is trackable with UTM tags for analytics.

With the Image Module, your biolink doesn’t just tell people where to go—it shows them. Add, link, and display with purpose and polish.
