Event Links

Welcome to the Heyy’s Event Link Tool, your personal launchpad for creating sleek, professional, and fully customized event links. Whether it’s a live concert, product reveal, webinar, or birthday bash — this tool transforms your event details into a powerful short link that looks good and works hard. Let’s take a stroll through each feature and setting, so you can make the most of it.

Link Basics

Short URL

What it does: This is your event’s unique short link (e.g., heyy.li/PreLaunchParty). You can customize this or leave it blank to generate a random URL. Keep it simple, memorable, and shareable.

Event Details

Event Name

Give your event a title that stands out. This name will be the headline, so make it descriptive, punchy, or classy depending on your vibe.

Location

Tell your audience where to show up.

  • In-person? Add the full address.

  • Online? Just say “Online” or paste your Zoom/Meet link here.

Event URL

Link to your main event page or ticketing platform. This can be a website, RSVP form, or registration portal.

Notes

Add extra info like parking instructions, entry details, hashtags, or dress codes. Think of this as the fine print with flair.

Event Starts On / Event Ends On

Choose the start and end date/time for your event. Use the calendar picker for smooth scheduling.

First Alert Reminder / Second Alert Reminder

Reminders help guests stay on track. Set automated alerts to give them a heads-up before the event begins.

  • First alert: A few days prior

  • Second alert: A few hours before

Timezone

Pick the correct time zone so your reminders and times display properly, especially for international guests.

Pixels

Want to track clicks and behavior? Add a pixel here for marketing analytics. You can also create new pixels directly from this panel.

Temporary URL

Toggle this to make your event link available only during certain dates. Great for exclusivity or flash events.

Schedule

Set specific active hours or days for your event page. This works well for limited-time offers or pop-ups.

Clicks Limit

Control access by limiting the number of clicks your link accepts. Once it hits the cap, access is denied.

Expiration URL

After your event ends or access expires, redirect users to a different page (like a thank-you page, highlight reel, or post-event survey).

Password Protection

Lock down your event link with a password. Only users with the key can access it — perfect for private or VIP-only events.

Sensitive Content Warning

Enable this if your event content is not suitable for all audiences. It shows a disclaimer before users open the page.

Advanced Options

For tech-savvy users and developers, this section allows you to set up custom handlers or integrate with APIs for automation and custom notifications.

Weekly Email Reports

Turn this on to receive a summary of link performance right in your inbox. It’s like a performance check-up for your event.

Project Assignment

Organize multiple events by adding this link to a project group. You can create a new project or assign it to an existing one.

Once everything’s filled out and polished, scroll down and click the bold purple “Update” button to save all your settings.

Congratulations — your event link is now live and ready to share with the world.

Pro Tips for Event Success
